Technium Revenue and Competitors

Technium is a managed network and security operations company. We design and manage highly-secure information networks that meet enterprise performance, reliability and compliance standards. Technium was formed in 1999, and named Technium in 2003. Co-founders Michael Joseph and Marius Janulis met while working at the legendary BBN ISP Genuity. BBN developments include the implementation and operation of the ARPANET, the creation of the @ sign in an email address, the sending of the first email, the first Internet protocol router, the voice funnel, and early work on TCP. BBN was also the first organization to receive an Autonomous System Number (AS1) for network identification. The core of our business has always been operations (managed services), and the focus always on high-performing information networks. Many of our team-members worked together at BBN or other large ISPs and have been with us for over a decade—what we call the \early days.\ Because of our roots and history, we were able build and grow a team of highly-skilled and experienced professionals. Most of our competitors, even very large ones, are unable to build similar teams. In 2012, we identified and acknowledged a shift in our industry towards converged networking and security. To prepare we began investing in more security- focused partnerships, training and personnel. Today, cybersecurity dominates our brand and every conversation we have. What has not changed, however, is that effective cybersecurity in the enterprise starts with an information network that is fundamentally sound. Our specialized skills and experience with global network design, implementation and management, along with our security and development capabilities and operational focus, make us uniquely qualified to meet the performance, reliability, security and compliance requirements demanded from today's enterprise information networks.
