LabourNet is a social enterprise based in Bangalore with a clear focus on enabling livelihoods and improving real income wages of the informal sector by improving worker skill and productivity. Labournet believes that education is not a one-time activity but a continuous process, and that every individual should have an opportunity to better education and better livelihoods. LabourNet's multi-pronged model focuses on differing training requirements of different profiles of individuals – casual workers, manual labourers, housewives, high-level technical experts and entrepreneurs. Work-integrated training ensures that individuals learn while they continue to earn. LabourNet has scaled up very fast and has a presence in 650 locations across India and has impacted more than 5,00,000 individuals in 15+ sectors till date. LabourNet's vision is to enable 10 million livelihoods by 2022.
