The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) offers an extraordinary vacation with up-close opportunities in small groups to discover the beauty of Costa Rica on an adventure presented by Classic Escapes from November 10 , 18, 2007. The journey provides a unique perspective for travelers to one of the world's best wildlife destinations accompanied by Connie Morgan, GLAZA president, and guides with extensive knowledge about fauna, flora, geology, ecology, conservation and natural history. Morgan escorts the "CLASSIC ADVENTURE TO COSTA RICA," which begins in San Jose and explores Braulio Carrillo and Tortuguero National Parks with an aerial tram ride through rainforest offering unparalleled views of flora, fauna and indigenous birds, reptiles, frogs and mammals, as well as a voyage by speedboat to Tortuguero's alluvial floodplain. Also featured are visits to the Arenal Volcano and the Monteverde Cloud Forest, with opportunities to experience wonders of the natural world such as the various sizes and shapes that leaves create as a strategy to capture sunlight.
