Many firms talk about creating the â??paperlessâ?? office but we think it is more realistic to focus on becoming â??less dependentâ?? on paper. We help our clients do that by making it easier and more reliable to store and retrieve electronic information.\n \nOur approach is typically, but not always, to enter into an â??outsourcingâ?? partnership and provide the onsite management of the Office Services and Records operation. We then work with our clients to design:\n\n1. Scanning and profiling workflows to populate electronic repositories;\n\n2. Search methods that improve the ability to find electronic data from all repositories;\n\n3. Intranet dashboards that push personalized information directly to the end users desktop so they can quickly see data relevant to their matters (e.g. scanned documents, financials, calendar, etc.).\n\n \nVDS manages Office Services and Records operations and designs systems that increase the speed and accuracy of information access to improve the efficiency of attorneys.
