What Is Center for Excellence in Higher Education?

Center for Excellence in Higher Education (CEHE) was established in 2006 (then called CollegeAmerica Services Inc.) by a small group of philanthropists who donated millions to the cause of improving higher education in the US. \n\nFrom 2007 to 2012, CEHE operated as a charity organization for the purpose of educating the public on the challenges facing higher education. In 2012, CEHE merged forces with Carl B. Barney, the sole stockholder of a group of colleges including Stevens-Henager College; Independence University; CollegeAmerica; and California College San Diego. \n\nCEHE’s career-based colleges are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and offer associate's, bachelor’s, and master’s degree programs in the fields of healthcare, nursing, business, accounting, information technology, and graphic design.
