What Is Cal Poly Women in Business Association?
Founded in Spring 2015, the Cal Poly Women in Business Association was created to act as a resource and community for young women, working to provide students with the skills and network needed to succeed in college and life. BUILD. WIB acts as a resource for young women that mobilizes and empowers them to thrive academically, socially and professionally in order to achieve long term success. SUPPORT. We support women in gaining the skills and training they need to successfully position themselves in a highly competitive workplace via relevant programming and proactive advocacy. EMPOWER. We strive to empower students through connection to, and mentorship from, alumni and prominent female leaders within the community.
