genedrive plc is a molecular diagnostics company developing and commercialising a low-cost, rapid, versatile, simple to use and robust point of need molecular platform for the diagnosis of infectious diseases, and for use in patient stratification (genotyping), pathogen detection and other indications. Genedrive® development has been validated through a range of applications and external independent evaluations. The Genedrive® HCV-ID test has received CE-IVD Certification and has been launched in Africa and the Asia Pacific region. The company has an active development programme underway for tuberculosis detection and drug resistance assessment. The company most recently announced the development of a pharmacogenomic test to prevent antibiotic induced deafness in infants, which is being co-developed with the partners in the UK's National Health Service. The company recently released a high throughput SARS-CoV-2 assay and has in development a Genedrive Point of care version of the assay. genedrive plc has distribution agreements with subsidiaries of Sysmex Corporation for the distribution of the Genedrive® platform in the EMEA and selected countries of the Asia Pacific region, and with ARKRAY Healthcare pvt Ltd for the distribution of the Genedrive® HCV ID Kit and Genedrive® platform in India.
