Maryland’s favorite fuel company for more than 50 years. In 1946, Lee D. McMahan started the McMahan Poultry Company. In the early 1950s, he acquired a used oil truck to deliver fuel to his own poultry houses. Soon thereafter, he started delivering fuel to neighboring poultry farmers who wanted the benefit of oil delivery. Tri Gas & Oil was officially incorporated in 1963, delivering heating oil around the Eastern Shore. Since incorporation, Tri Gas & Oil primarily offered propane gas and heating oil delivery to commercial customers. As business grew, we expanded our offerings to include residential customers, as well as adding to our product lines. We began offering custom oil blends, biodiesel, and a range of other cutting edge and environmentally friendly products - perfect for the Peninsula agriculture industry. 50 years later, we are still 100% committed to providing excellent service to Delmarva.
