The Academy Group (AG) is a unique social enterprise that leverages earned revenue from financial investments to create world-class opportunities for young people from the nation’s most resilient communities. Our programming affords students the exposure, access and acumen they will need ascend to the highest levels of leadership in business and society. We invest in a diverse portfolio of commercial companies that share our vision and values and use the earned revenues to reinvest in young people. We invest in companies that share our vision and values and use the returns to reinvest in young people, starting in the fourth grade and over a fourteen-year journey through high school, college and into career. Through rigorous, hands-on exploration of economics, entrepreneurship, design thinking, technology and justice, young people acquire the skill-sets and mindsets required to lead, own and operate businesses and create wealth for their families and communities. Our partner companies provide paid internships to our students in high school and college and help us fulfill our guarantee of employment to all students who complete our program and graduate from college. Scholars who stay with us are guaranteed employment with a partner company upon college graduation and will be equipped with the savvy, knowledge, and relationships to successfully assume the highest levels of leadership.
