What Is Life Learning Academy?
The Life Learning Academy creates paths to success for students who have become disconnected from traditional school settings. LLA welcomes students into an ‘extended family’ which motivates everyone to give and receive support, develop responsibility and judgment, and build the academic, vocational and social skills necessary to be successful. Since August 2019, LLA offers at no cost, an on-campus housing program to provide students with safe and stable housing. Founded in 1998, LLA is an award-winning, WASC accredited program that is modeled after the best practices of the Delancey Street Foundation.
