What Is Integrated Healthcare Association?

IHA is a non-profit multi-stakeholder leadership group that promotes health care quality improvement, accountability and affordability for the benefit of all Californians. IHA members represent the most diverse and influential cross section of health care organizations across California. With trusted data and collaborative programs, we serve as a catalyst by forging common ground and initiating, coordinating, and managing projects that address delivery system challenges. Governed by a 40-member board of directors from California's leading health plans, physician groups, health systems and hospitals, IHA has a rich history and depth of experience in multi-stakeholder collaboration, performance measurement, and reporting. There are hundreds of contributing factors to the wide discrepancies in the costs and quality of health care in California, and just as many efforts to fix them. IHA collaborates with diverse stakeholders to accelerate improving quality, reducing costs, and increasing transparency in health care. By breaking down silos and establishing widely accepted standards and benchmarks, we help solve seemingly intractable problems so our members and partners can move health care forward.
