Gradientech AB is a privately owned life science company based in Uppsala, Sweden. Gradientech develops and provides microscale tools for live imaging of cell behavior in response to defined concentration gradients. Our patented microfluidic platform offers controllable gradients that enables you to analyse live cell responses at high resolution and with full control of the chemotactic environment. Gradientech is currently developing an IVD system for ultra-rapid antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) based on our microfluidic gradient generating platform. Effective diagnostic systems for AST is critical to address the growing issue of antibiotic resistance and sepsis – our system will outperform new pioneering AST products in terms of time required as well as cost. Gradientech is since 2013 on the Stockholm-Uppsala Life Science Investment Hotlist, a collection of the most interesting life science companies in the region for investors, as identified by Stockholm Business Region Development.
