What Is Economics Student Society of Australia?
The Economics Student Society of Australia was founded in February 2012 at University of Melbourne by a group of friends who love economics. They recognised the University's need for a student society to foster healthy debate around Australia's pressing issues and connect peers together in a social setting yet on an intellectual level. Thus, the Economics Student Society of Australia was born with the vision of providing students with a new and invaluable experience. ESSA has also expanded its presence to Monash University, where it aims further its goal of fostering a healthy love for economics by encouraging discussion and application of economic principles to the real world. Our Mission: ESSA strives to be the point of difference in your University experience through uniting theory and reality. We innovatively connect like-minded students together to ignite a passionate economics community that is more informed, engaged and aware of the breadth of opportunities and unique multidisciplinary relevance of economics. www.economicstudents.com www.twitter.com/ESSA_aus www.facebook.com/essa.aus www.facebook.com/ESSAUniMelb www.facebook.com/ESSAMonash www.facebook.com/essacaulfield/
