Dreams for schools is a 501(c)(3) non-profit making STEM approachable and accessible for all. Empowering students. Cultivating curiosity. By providing the right tools and experience, we help kids program the future. Dreams for Schools oversees programs and initiatives that contribute to educating youth about Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) fields. All programs inspire, create and educate students to be STEM literate with hard and soft skills needed to become the critical thinkers, creative leaders, and technologists of tomorrow. Our Initiatives: 1. Professional Development - Dreams for Schools works with schools, teachers, and districts to hold workshops to deliver hands-on, effective professional development and technical trainings for teachers on incorporating 21st century technologies in their curriculums. 2. Out of School Programs - Our largest area of focus where we have a wide range of programs spanning K-16 including but not limited to: - Sphero Robotics for Elementary - AppJam+ Mobile App Development for Middle & High School - Mobile App Development for Students with Learning Differences - WebJam - Web Development for Middle and High School - Race Cars with Python, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi for High School and College students 3. Summer Programs - Dreams for Schools offers immersive summer camp experiences for students to learn 21st century skills in engaging and innovative ways. The camps are primarily targeted to elementary and middle school students and include day long field trip visits to local technology companies.
