Daycon was founded in 1942 by David A. Cohen, in Washington, D.C., as a regional supplier of janitorial and sanitary products. The company started with a $200 investment. One of its early accomplishments was the invention of Endust®. Since then, Daycon has grown to become one of the largest regional cleaning and maintenance suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers on the East Coast. Corporate, branch, and retail locations throughout Maryland and Virginia service Washington D.C. and surrounding states.
