Welcome to One Crown Office Row We are one of England's largest barristers Chambers with 74 barristers, including 27 QCs, based in London and 44 based in our Annexe in Brighton. We are regularly rated as one of the top 30 sets of Chambers in England with large numbers of our barristers listed in Legal Directories as leaders in their field of practice. Tracing our history back to the 1930s, we have developed a strong reputation in particular for our advocacy skills. High standards are set to obtain a tenancy here. This strict quality control is reflected in the large numbers of Members who have become QCs and in the regularly high numbers of appointees to the Attorney General's A, B and C Panels. We run the widely acclaimed UK Human Rights Blog (http://ukhumanrightsblog.com) and its older sister the UK Human Rights Update site (www.humanrights.org.uk). In Brighton, we practice in Family, Civil and Criminal law from a centrally located Annexe established 40 years ago with clients drawn from Brighton & Hove and a wide swathe of the South Coast and areas South of London. We provide dispute resolution and mediation services in London and Brighton and several Brighton-based barristers also accept work in accordance with the Bar's public access scheme i.e. receiving instructions direct from members of the public.
