What Is inCitu?
inCitu is a social-impact venture that democratizes urban development by incentivizing community participation through Augmented Reality experience. Our AR-powered platform layers planning proposals on top of the built environment, including visualizing their potential impact while effectively crowdsourcing residents' feedback. Our mission is to bring planning into people’s lives in an integrated, safe fashion in order to build inclusive, resilient cities through strong, engaged communities. inCitu was incubated inside of the Schmidt Futures EIR program, where we were selected as one of the top 6 impact entrepreneurs in the country. The Schmidt Futures EIR program is a social impact program sponsored by Eric Schmidt, former CEO of Google. Today, inCitu partners with organizations like US Ignite, ELGL, NewCities, NYU CUSP and Cornell Tech.
