Applied Systems Associates, Inc. was founded in 1969 and specializes in providing computer-related goods and services for the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Fabrication Industry. Located in its own facility in Murrysville Pennsylvania (just outside Pittsburgh) aSa is a full-service company that provides integrated computer systems, industrial controls, custom forms and supplies, and consulting services. aSa serves nearly 500 client sites in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Australia. Millions of tons of reinforcing steel pass through aSa computer systems every year. aSa has set Industry standards for rebar software methods, procedures, and presentation practices, and is an active participant in and contributor to the U.S. Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI). Applied Systems’ large in-house staff includes Industry experts and experienced computer professionals who develop and maintain aSa Rebar software, hardware, and peripheral products.
