FS-Elliott Revenue and Competitors

FS-Elliott represents the cumulative experience of two (2) companies with a rich tradition in the compression industries. The first oil-free, integrally geared, multi-stage, centrifugal air compressor was developed by Elliott Company in 1963. This innovation grew into the PAP (Plant Air Package) product line that we continue to sell and manufacture today. Under Elliott"s leadership the PAP product line expanded and was refined for higher efficiencies and improved reliability. In the late 1990s Elliott formed a joint venture with its long time Asian partner, Fu Sheng, to build a packaging facility in Shanghai, China. This relationship was very successful and the PAP product became a leader in China markets. Fu Sheng entered into the air compressor industry in 1953. Initially established as a repair and overhaul business, the company grew into a multi-faceted manufacturer of reciprocating and screw type compressors for air and refrigeration applications. Through diversification, Fu-Sheng"s businesses expanded to include sporting goods and electronics, with facilities in Taiwan, China, Vietnam and the United States. Fu Sheng is well known for their precision casting and machining expertise and are one of the world"s largest users of titanium. Fu Sheng, a publically traded corporation based in Taiwan, is lead by its chairman H.T. Lee. In October of 2003, Elliott sold the PAP product Line to Fu-Sheng creating FS-Elliott. initial operations were maintained in Elliott"s Jeannette, PA facility to ensure a smooth transition of engineering and manufacturing expertise. Many of the former Elliott employees were retained with the new business. FS-Elliott purchased two facilities in nearby Export, PA to establish an independent headquarters for compressor design and manufacturing, and service. Many new machine tools were installed at the Export facility, modernizing our processes to improve quality and reduce costs. A well planned and controlled relocation program slowly transfered operations to the new facilities. Today FS-Elliott is a world class manufacturer focused on centrifugal air compressor technologies.
