In 1986, a group of committed parents, led by founding Head of School Isabelle S. Schuessler, embarked on a unique and exciting mission: to create a well-balanced, independent Episcopal school for boys and girls that would nurture the whole child. Our founding beliefs remain the same: *The Nursery through Grade 8 school model best serves students. *Academic excellence and happy children belong together. *School must challenge students but also let kids be kids. *It's our job to impart a spirit of community, achievement, character, creativity, adventure, and faith. *It's our privilege to empower children to stride confidently into the world, delight in it, and contribute to it.
