What Is Classroom?

Classroom allows students to work together outside of their physical classrooms. Upon registration with a valid .edu email address, current university, and semester course schedule, students are automatically filtered into "Classrooms" populated by all other students in that course that have done the same. "Classrooms" guarantee that students are always able to stay in touch with their classmates, no matter where they are, or what time it is. With our founders being college students, we can directly connect to the trials and tribulations of today's college student. As we like to say, Classroom is a collaboration network built for students, by students. A common misconception in college is that you can be successful by going to class, taking notes, and studying the other course materials. As college students quickly learn though, this is only the beginning to a successful course experience. If a student is taking a difficult course, or simply doesn't connect well with the professor's teaching style, the student is typically out of luck in the current market for educational resources. This is where we come into play - Classroom allows students to post questions, upload documents and notes, connect with their classmates through individual and group chat, and maintain a calendar of upcoming assignment deadlines and exam dates. A unique feature of Classroom is that this collaboration is built without teacher oversight; instead it is purely developed by the students, maintaining our image of a platform built for students, by students. College students are now free from the scrutiny of asking what the teacher may feel is a "dumb question" and are able to connect and meet with other students that they otherwise may not have. These collaborative resources will finally give today's students the necessary resources to combat the everyday struggles of college. With our unique blend of social media and education, Classroom is aiming to make learning easier, together.
