Waggoner Engineering, Inc. was established by Joe A. Waggoner, P.E., PLS in 1976. Since that time, Waggoner has grown to a staff of over 70 employees in four offices and has performed services in seven southeastern states. Currently, Waggoner is actively engaged in services in Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, and California. Civil Engineering & Surveying is a broad field that encompasses many specialty areas of practice. With over 25 engineers on the professional staff, Waggoner has specialized capability and experience in each area of practice. But in addition to engineering professionals, Waggoner completes the service team with other professionals that improve the product: on staff economic developers, landscape architects, construction managers, floodplain managers, and GIS analysts. Working together, the Waggoner team is proficient not only in the purely technical aspects, but also in client service and communication, financial feasibility analysis, funding attraction, economic development, construction administration, resident engineering, program management, scheduling, construction cost estimating, public participation, and related services.
