Ultrafast Fibre built, owns and operates an optical fibre network in the urban areas of Hamilton, Tauranga, Whanganui, New Plymouth, Tokoroa, Hawera, Cambridge and Te Awamutu. This network is available to more than 190,000 homes, schools and businesses. Work is also underway on providing fibre broadband to 27 additional town/locations including Matangi, Tamahere, Tauwhare, NgÄ?ruawÄ?hia, Te Kowhai, Huntly, PutÄ?ruru, Raglan, Kihikihi and Tirau in the Waikato; Katikati, Å?mokoroa, and Te Puke in Western Bay of Plenty; and Stratford, Eltham, Inglewood and Waitara in Taranaki with households already being connected in some of these areas.
