Tructyre Fleet Management Ltd was created by customer's demand of improved services in the management of their tyres on trucks. Due to market polarisation and the need to reduce cost, outsource non-core activities of their business, fleet operators were looking for tyre companies to take more ownership. Recognising the need, Glenn Sherwood, with over 30 years experience in the truck/tyre business, started this unique niche market business in 1996 with two second-hand vans and a small base in Winchester.
