Tried & True Tutoring provides in-home tutoring all over the U.S. for all academic subjects as well as an original SAT & ACT program with proven results. Tried & True Tutoring uses innovative recruitment strategies that incorporate assessments from Teachers, Parents & Students, while utilizing 21st century video conferencing technology to ensure that we only hire the best tutors available. Tried & True was founded by California Credentialed Teachers with extensive tutoring experience.  The owners have developed a rigorous training program for their tutors so that each-and-every student gets the benefit of that experience. Our programs involve the use of Summative (graded tests) Formative (on the spot) assessments, in order to provide a customized curriculum based on the student's knowledge gaps. We encourage our students with open-ended questions while requiring them to utilize academic language in their responses, in order to solidify concepts, learning, and understanding.
