Townsend is a fourth generation family owned and operated business, servicing residential and commercial customers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. We distribute BioPure heating oil, propane, gasoline, diesel, and are also actively involved in the service and installation of heating and air conditioning equipment, as well as stand-by power generators. Additionally, Townsend performs home energy audits and assessments. We have recently established a new division, Townsend Insurance Group, which will service the personal and commercial insurance needs of both existing and new customers. Townsend is recognized and respected as one of the larger and more progressive family owned and operating businesses in New England, and is proud to service approximately 25,000 residential and commercial customers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine.
