Torhea Education is an education provider and pioneer in China with an emphasis on research-based education. As we believe that education in the modern world should be about the ability to research and think critically, our research-based education services center upon helping students learn about academic research, independent studies, and critical thinking. Our signature program, China International Summer (CIS) program, started in 2012. CIS invites senior professors from top universities in the U.S. to teach a 40-hour college-level course and lead academic research groups of 5 elite students in China for a full month every summer. In 2018, the CIS program hosted over 300 students and 25 professors. As one of our proudest accomplishments, several CIS students successfully launched their self-designed remote sensing satellite from China's Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. We also adopt innovative ways of delivering our research-based education services, utilizing both online and offline channels. We are launching our online research education program by the end of 2018.
