What Is The Disabilities Trust?

Autism * Brain Injury * Physical Disability * Learning Disability * residential and day services. Award winning UK charity providing innovative care, rehabilitation and support for people with profound physical impairments, acquired brain injury, learning disabilities and autism. Working in partnership with the people we support, their families and friends, local authorities, health authorities, housing associations and other organisations, The Disabilities Trust has an established track record of delivering leading-edge services that meet the needs of individuals with complex and challenging disabilities. We are continually looking to refine our existing services and develop new ones in response to identified individual needs. This includes accommodation, community-based housing, respite care, special education and community enabling services to maximise each person's independence. We also monitor and, where possible, aim to influence policy and legislative changes which will affect our service users or people with disabilities within our areas of expertise. Brain Injury Rehabilitation, Autism, Physical Disability, Learning Disability, Clinical Research, Community Support, Homecare
