Five Rivers is a leading independent Social Enterprise that works with children who are in need of specialist care throughout the U.K.\r\n\r\nWe were established in 1989 to provide a secure environment with as much normality as possible for young people who have experienced abuse, neglect and abusive relationships or for children who are in need of specialist residential care.\r\n\r\nOver two decades we have developed our ‘Five Fundamental’ services, each of which is principle-based and remains integral to our complete child care provisions.\r\n\r\nFive Rivers provides these high-impact sector-leading services in locations throughout England and Ireland.\r\n\r\nWe promote a strong, pragmatic philosophy, shared by all of our professional and experienced staff, that each child or teenager is an individual in their own right, with their own unique sets of difficulties.\r\n\r\nService environments are selected to provide safety, warmth and security and our aim is to offer children and young people high-impact professional support, which helps them to work through their challenges and difficulties.\r\n\r\nThis unique approach over the last twenty five years has enabled us to cement ourselves at the forefront of a sensitive sector.\r\n\r\nFive Rivers strives to ensure that the young people we work alongside have access to the right programmes for all-round development, thereby offering placement opportunities with endless choices during the planning process.\r\n\r\nAs a leading Social Enterprise we hold Investors in People (IIP) status and work with a wide range of national organisations including the National Fostering Network and the British Association of Adoption and Fostering (BAAF).\r\n\r\nWe are also a member of the Social Care Association (SCA), The Social Enterprise Coalition (SOC) and many more associations that support our values of child care practice.\r\n\r\nTurning Children’s Lives Around Through High-Impact Sector-Leading Services
