What Is Sundek USA?
Sundek swimwear is the original surfwear brand. Born along the coast of San Francisco, California in 1958, Sundek pioneered board shorts to meet the demands of the early surfer community. Never overlooking its original DNA and always staying ahead of trends, Sundek merged the surf community’s passion for adventure and experimentation with stylistic sensibilities and evolved into a fashion forward brand. The technical qualities that made Sundek so popular with surfers during the 1960’s and 1970’s have translated seamlessly into sophisticated fashion swimwear. Along its journey, Sundek was an inaugural sponsor of the Eastern Surfing Association and built an all-star team of surfers. Introduced in the early 1970’s, Sundek’s rainbow classic board shorts have transcended the surfer community and have become a fashion icon. Sundek is available in the most exclusive boutiques, department stores, and monobrand stores around the globe.
