At the Stowe Ski and Snowboard School, we take pride in offering coaching and instruction for people of all ages and ability levels. Stowe has long been a leading instructional center, and we have a performance standard that you would be proud to uphold. We have a very high percentage of certified instructors, and we also welcome inexperienced staff members who have a passion for winter sports and a desire to share it with others. The Stowe Mountain Resort Ski School invests heavily in the personal and professional development of our staff. We are fortunate that numerous Examiners, Trainers and Clinic Leaders for PSIA and AASI are members of our staff. We have gained a reputation as "the place to be" if you aspire to reach a new certification level. Each year, we have an extraordinarily high pass rate for individuals motivated to accomplish levels of certification, and we compensate professionals for their achievements. In addition, we LOVE turning new instructors on to the joys of teaching skiing and riding. As Snow Wakeman says, "We don't just teach people to ski. We teach them how to have a good time for the rest of their lives." Our mission is to share with our guests the gift of our authentic alpine recreational environment in ways that stimulate them physically, emotionally and spiritually.
