What Is Okemo Mountain Resort?
OMS was founded in 1982 and offers a curriculum for the serious young competitor. OMS offers two programs of study: a full school year program for grades 9 through 12, or a winter term program from November through March for grades 7 through 12 - allowing students to concentrate on their competitive goals while maintaining their studies. Students compete in one of three disciplines: Alpine Skiing, Freestyle Skiing, or Snowboarding. All of the proceeds from the Okemo Ski and Snowboard Sale will benefit students attending OMS and will help to provide scholarships for athletes with financial needs.
