What Is Sports For Learning?

At Sports For Learning, we are well positioned to help Districts with their return to school and with Distance Learning. Currently Sports For Learning is assisting Districts around the state with with staff and SEL support as they return to school. We are also assisting Districts with synchronous and asynchronous distance learning. Our curriculum blends PE/PA and Social Emotional Learning. Our curriculum is grade level appropriate and is aligned with CA physical activity and health standards. We use college students who act as near-peer mentors and role models to deliver our curriculum. We currently partner with over 300 schools in 50 Districts in mostly CA. 100,000 students go through our program annually. We recruit college students and athletes to act as near peer mentors. Sports For Learning has a team of 300 coaches and 30 full time staff.
