As a service provider of the iLembe District Municipality, Siza Water has been serving its communities for more than two decades with excellence and was awarded the prestigious accolade of being South Africa’s Best Water Service Provider, per the Department of Water & Sanitation’s 2014 Blue Drop audit. During the devastating 2014 drought when taps ran dry and dams nationwide were on the brink of failure, Ballito’s saving grace was a state-of-the art water recycling plant that was built by Siza to augment the water supply to its customers. This initiative not only ensured uninterrupted potable water supply to customers, but also ensured the area’s economic developments continued uninterrupted. Siza Water, now a proudly South African company under the wing of South African Water Works, draws on the experience of the previous international shareholders (SAUR, CASCAL & SEMBCORP) to ensure that first world technologies and processes are deployed in rendering services to its customers.
