At Santa Fe Christian Schools an important part of our mission to develop Christian leaders involves preparing students to meet the challenges of our ever-changing world. We must equip our students with both solid biblical and scientific foundations so that they are fully prepared to defend their faith and to answer the many moral and ethical questions that arise with each new scientific discovery. To do this, we must first teach our students from a Christian worldview. In our society, science has become the god and naturalism the defining philosophy. Our students need to realize that science is only a tool that is used to help us discover and understand the creation God entrusted to us. Given the importance of science in our world,it is critical for SFC to offer a first class science program. We need resources and technology to equip our students for their college years and beyond. Science programs are very facility-driven and well-designed labs are needed to properly instruct our students. This is why the Science Center is so desperately needed. Once built, it will provide four state-of-the-art teaching labs that will be equal or better than most college labs in the area. Science is that important to SFC!
