What Is Recovery Network of Programs?

Recovery Network of Programs, Inc. is a private, non-profit behavioral health provider serving Connecticut. We strive to solve the most difficult social issues facing humanity and effect positive, lasting change. Its primary mission is to serve the economically disadvantaged/afflicted person by using a variety of individualized and diversified approaches to person-centered care. RNP serves well over 2,500 individuals daily. \n\nFounded in 1972, RNP has grown to meet the needs of the Fairfield County community. RNP employs a highly trained, diverse and qualified staff of professionals to provide substance use treatment and case management for the mentally impaired and homeless. All services are based on a Recovery Model of Care which individualizes treatment to support and encourage an individual's recovery and increased stability.\n\nToday, the Organization's scope of services provide a continuum of care in the following areas: methadone maintenance in Bridgeport, Stratford and the Bridgeport Correctional Facility; an ambulatory detox center; individual and group drug and alcohol counseling; substance use and mental health education; Narcan training; HIV test counseling and confidential testing to all individuals served; information and referrals; a variety of counseling programs for young adults; facilities for individuals recovering from psychiatric disorders and a wide range of housing options for the homeless.\n\nRNP has taken a leadership role at local CT opioid forums by offering free education, resources, referrals and support. In response to the Opioid crisis, it has implemented several life-saving programs, many of which have been without third-party or other financial support as it is RNP’s mission to save the lives of those ensnared by the hands of addiction. With the funds we raise to support our organization, we continue to expand access, serve over 5,000 individuals annually, employ innovative evidence based strategies to create measurable and sustained impact in our communities; and, most importantly, offer hope and faith to those we serve.\n\nFor more information, visit: www.recovery-programs.org.
