Founded in Alaska in 1969, R&M Consultants, Inc. is a multi-discipline firm specializing in cold region civil and structural engineering, earth sciences, surveying and mapping, and construction services. R&M currently employs a well-balanced staff of approximately 80 professional, technical and administrative personnel. This number often grows to more than 100 to accommodate seasonal work increases in the summer months. As an employee-owned firm, R&M is committed to maintaining a work environment that respects and supports the personal values and professional accomplishments of our people. Since its inception, the firm has participated in many projects in urban and rural locations throughout Alaska. R&M's project participation has often begun with initial site feasibility studies and because of the firm's broad capabilities, extended from study-phase data collection and criteria formulation through the design and construction phases and into operational support efforts for completed facilities. The firm's focus has been to provide a full range of technical services with a major emphasis on producing quality projects based on environmentally sound principles. R&M is a team-oriented firm and is proud to have built successful relationships with other specialty firms in Alaska and the Lower 48.
