Proactive was founded in 1999 with a view to provide end to end, integrated rehabilitation services. Employing more than 150 clinical staff, and a network of allied health professionals throughout the North Island, Proactive provides a range of rehabilitation, health and wellbeing services to DHB?s, ACC, private insurers, corporate organisations and individuals. We base our service delivery around three principles: - Wellbeing: We adopt a ?wellbeing?? approach to service delivery, with the view that optimising client engagement and promoting an attitude of wellness will promote independence. - The Four Corners Approach: Health conditions and injuries are all complex in nature. our approach to assessment, care planning and service delivery employs tools and processes that employ a biopsychosocial and multifactorial approach to service delivery. - Transformational Rehabilitation: Our goal is to not only engage clients in a service that provides for ?rehabilitation?? or ?improved health outcomes??, but to engage clients in an experience that challenges any beliefs and behaviours that impact negatively on their health and wellbeing.
