What Is Planetree International?

Since our founding in 1978 by a patient who had experienced a difficult patient care experience, Planetree has worked with hospitals, long-term care and ambulatory care settings around the world to develop comprehensive patient and family centered models of care focused on kindness, caring and respect. Planetree provides education, resources and information in a collaborative community to healthcare organizations and we nurture and support efforts to advance remarkable experiences for patients and staff in patient-centered healing environments.
