public schools is the simple fact that a significant percentage of the public has no regular contact with schools. Simply put, only about twenty to thirty percent of our citizens currently have children in school. For those without children in school (and even for some with children in school), knowledge of today’s public education is gathered through the media or word-of-mouth from friends and relatives. In the hope of providing information to a broader population, I’ve instituted a Quarterly Newsletter of which this is the first edition.
