Formed in 1997, Pacifica Hotel Investors is the acquisition and asset management arm of Pacifica Hotel Company, Invest West Financial Corporation and their strategic partners. This alliance has purchased 13 California hotels with total acquisition and disposition capitalization in excess of $211 million. Also headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA, Pacifica Hotel Company (PHC) is a privately-held real estate investment and hotel management firm. In 2002, PHC and its affiliates generated revenues of $64 million and reported a 70% occupancy rate with their portfolio of independent and flagged properties in key California cities from San Diego to San Francisco. Pacifica properties feature outstanding locations, 3-diamond AAA ratings, upgraded amenities and high standards of guest service. Among Pacifica's properties are the Empress Hotel in La Jolla, Shelter Pointe Marina and Hotel in San Diego, Radisson Beverly Hills, Inn at Venice Beach, Pacifica Suites in Santa Barbara, Spyglass Inn in Pismo Beach, Fogcatcher Inn in Cambria, and Best Western Lighthouse Hotel in Pacifica.
