Over Byen Architects is specialized in the generation of vital places through insightful change. Our architecture is anchored in time, place and culture — buildings and spaces that reveal clear identities and new meaning rooted in a living history. Over Byen Architects was founded in 2012 by Ida Lindberg, Christian Lund and Esben Thorlacius. Today, the partner team also counts Maria Wedel Søe and Martin Dahlerup and we are more than 80 people working with new and existing buildings, historically registered landmarks, and churches. We offer services within transformation, restoration, conservation, new construction, interior design, security consulting, and strategic urban planning. We work closely with clients, authorities, and end-users to ensure projects of high architectural quality that are pragmatic, viable, and responsible. We see our office as a forum for the development and sharing of knowledge and experience through lectures, courses, open talks, and collaborations.
