Outside the Lens Revenue and Competitors

Outside the Lens provides innovative, transformative photography and digital media education to youth in K-12 schools throughout San Diego. Our mission is to empower youth to use photography and digital media to create change within themselves, their community, and their world. Through in-school, after-school, and summer programs, Outside the Lens engages youth, building 21st Century Skills and giving them the tools to express themselves creatively and have their voices heard. Outside the Lens also trains teachers around the world to implement our curriculum in their own classrooms. At Outside the Lens' Media Lab + Gallery at San Diego's historic Liberty Station, we connect with the community through our monthly photography exhibits by youth and professional photographers alike, as well as our evening and weekend photography workshops for learners of all ages.
