A team of colleagues came together the summer of 2016 to spawn the first spinout company from the Institute for Next Generation Healthcare the Mount Sinai. We gravitated towards women's healthcare and recognized a major gap within the fertility realm. As research indicates, today's young women are more career driven then ever and for many, family planning is taking a backseat. This results in couples trying to conceive at later ages and busier lifestyles which can lead to many residual effects such as difficulty conceiving. What should be a rewarding and exciting journey quickly begins to turn into an unpleasant experience. Difficulty conceiving can lead to emotional challenges where both partners begin to feel inadequate. In addition, it can cause financial hurdles if a couple decides to undergo infertility treatments. OOVA was born with the goal to help women easily achieve their fertility goals without disrupting their busy lifestyles'. Our team of career scientists and engineers are working diligently to make this a reality for all women across the world.
