Medina Creative Housing Revenue and Competitors

Medina Creative Housing has developed nationally recognized housing and services for hundreds of individuals with disabilities. MCH continues to build on its innovations and initiatives by creating housing, services, and employment opportunities that have been traditionally closed to people with disabilities and the low income, underserved population in Medina County. Medina Creative Housing was formed by a group of concerned parents who were looking for a brighter future for their children with disabilities. In 1992, they launched a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that would enable developmentally and physically disabled residents of Medina County to live the American Dream, to live independently in a home of their own design to meet their special needs. Today, Medina Creative Housing provides 17 single family homes and 34 garden-style, subsidized apartment units. Additionally, through its affiliates, the organization provides wrap around supports including: life skills training, provider supports, vocational training and supportive employment though Medina Creative Produce, Medina Creative Pet Play, Medina Creative Coffee & Cafés, Property Maintenance/Construction, Medina Creative Therapy Ranch, Ticket-to-Work, Resident Enrichment Program, Therapeutic Horseback Riding, day programming, adaptive and therapeutic programs in music, art, yoga, and martial arts.
