Marimekko is a Finnish lifestyle design company whose original prints and colours have brought joy to people’s everyday lives since 1951. Our product portfolio includes high-quality clothing, bags and accessories as well as home décor items ranging from textiles to tableware. Timelessness, quality and functionality are the cornerstones on which our recognisable design has always been built.\n\nWhen Marimekko was founded, its unparalleled printed fabrics gave it a strong and unique identity. Even today, we have our own printing factory in Helsinki that produces around a million metres of fabric every year. The printing mill serves both as a factory and as an innovative hub for our design and product development team.\n\nMarimekko products are sold in about 40 countries. In 2019, brand sales of the Marimekko products worldwide amounted to EUR 251 million and the net sales were EUR 125 million. Roughly 150 Marimekko stores serve customers around the globe. The key markets are Northern Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region. The Group employs about 450 people. The Marimekko share is quoted on Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd.
