Maine Technical Source was founded back in 1973 by Gus MacDonald as he worked solo out of a garage. Through his hard work, dedication, and a 100% commitment on keeping his customers satisfied; the company has grown to what it is today. MTS consists of multiple offices located in Maine, Massachusetts, and New York - employing a staff of 20 plus. In June 2017, Gus sold MTS to Stuart MacDonald. Stuart, and the first-rate MTS team, looks forward to continuing the legacy of meeting every customer need. All Maine Technical Source employees are singularly focused on providing exemplary customer service. For 40 years, Maine Technical Source has proudly supplied surveyors, engineers, contractors, and architects with the world's finest technical and measurement tools, supplies, software, training and service. MTS has earned a reputation for outstanding customer service as well as their expertly trained repair department. Selling thousands of products from basic supplies to GPS systems, Total Stations and even Machine Control, MTS takes pride in representing over 35 manufacturers.
