Lux Labs develops advanced optical materials using cutting edge nanophotonics and polymer fabrication methods. Our technology portfolio includes several MIT-born innovations, including optical angular-selective film, the only material system that selects light based on its angle of propagation, and wavelength-selective scattering film, which acts as an affordable transparent display. Our first consumer product, ClearBrightâ„¢, is now on the market. ClearBrightâ„¢ can retrofit any clear substrate (think storefront windows) turning then into a fully transparent projection surface. We're working to improve and develop new display, window, and solar energy systems.
