Liontown Resources (ASX : LTR) is a mineral exploration and development company focused on the development of high quality lithium & tantalum projects in Australia, as well as an emerging gold, PGE, nickel and copper project in Western Australia. Liontown controls 100% of the lithium rights to two prospective projects (Kathleen Valley and Buldania) with short to mid-term resource potential and which are close to established infrastructure and are located within strategic Western Australian mining regions. These two lithium projects give the Company exposure to the transforming lithium market, and the timing of the development of the Kathleen Valley Project to a standalone mine is perfectly aligned with the forecast resurgence of the lithium-ion battery sector in the coming years. The Company’s new emerging gold, PGE, nickel and copper project in Moora, Western Australia is located in the same geological terrain as the Julimar discovery where Chalice Gold Mines (ASX:CHN) announced a high-grade Ni-Cu-PGE discovery in the first half of 2020.
