What Is Liberation Programs?

The mission of Liberation Programs is to empower people and their families to be free of the disease of addiction by providing targeted solutions that restore lives and strengthen our community. From a single location, Liberation House, which opened in Stamford in 1972, Liberation has expanded to become one of the area's leading behavioral health organizations. Today the agency serves more than a 1,000 people a day at sites in Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk and Bridgeport. Services include outpatient programs, two residential programs, special services for older adults and people living with HIV/AIDS, permanent supportive housing and extensive education and prevention activities in the community.
